Experience an authentic and heartwarming Shabbat atmosphere with our Jewish community in Jacó, Costa Rica.
Our shared Shabbat meals are held at Izu’s Place, home to the Jewish Center of Jacó, just steps away from the Beit Knesset Ari Hakadosh (the synagogue) and the Be.Live boutique hotel.
We welcome you to gather with fellow travelers and locals around a beautifully set table, enjoying family-style meals, a communal Kiddush, songs, stories, and delicious Middle Eastern kosher cuisine prepared by Sabress, our in-house kosher restaurant.
All in One Place: For those staying at Be.Live, your room, the synagogue, and the Shabbat meals are all in the same location – making your Shabbat restful, connected, and spiritually uplifting.
Prefer a private Kiddush? You may purchase a bottle of wine in advance from Sabress Restaurant to bring to the table.

Our center operates independently and is not affiliated with Chabad Costa Rica or any other organization.
Everything we do comes from a place of love, faith, and a desire to bring more light into the world.
All activities are fully funded by us personally, through the income from our own businesses — not through donations.
That being said, if you wish to take part in the mitzvah and contribute with love to our synagogue you are welcome.
All donations go directly toward enhancing, beautifying, and maintaining the synagogue — for everyone who comes to pray, sing, and feel at home.
